Stash Smart Locker

With the continued growth of online shopping, parcel deliveries have become part of most of our everyday lives. This, however, has given rise to the need for secure and convenient delivery solutions. Missed deliveries as a result of limited collection flexibility,recipients needing to be physically present, security concerns and difficulties coordinating between residents and couriers. We developed Stash Smart Locker to address these challenges by creating a smarter, more convenient and secure way to manage parcel deliveries and collections.

Stash is a web-based smart locker management system that connects residents, couriers and administrators through one centralized platform. For residents, Stash offers them the freedom to receive and collect parcels at their convenience, without needing to be home for deliveries. Residents can register, book Stash lockers located at their building, manage their bookings and track their delivery activity through a user-friendly portal. For couriers, the system simplifies deliveries by providing a secure, straightforward process for identifying bookings and depositing parcels without having to wait for recipients or further coordination with them. Administrators benefit from greater visibility and control over Stash locker availability, bookings and daily operations, reducing the existing need for manual coordination.

We developed the application using Vue.js for the frontend and ASP.NET Core for the backend, PostgreSQL through Supabase to manage system data such as managing users, bookings and locker availability.

Throughout development, we recognised that successful parcel management requires secure convenient storage for the resident, courier and administrator; we aimed to make the experience seamless for everyone involved, all while balancing the needs of all users.

Ultimately, Stash aims to make parcel delivery less stressful, more accessible and more efficient by bringing convenience, security and flexibility together in one solution
