Our project explores how different VR locomotion techniques can be combined with Redirected Walking (RDW) to enable natural interaction with physical props in small tracked spaces. We developed three systems in Unity using the HTC Vive Pro: Free Teleport with RDW, Fixed-Point Teleport with RDW, and Joystick Locomotion with RDW. Each method applies subtle movement adjustments (called gains) that steer users toward real objects, an axe, a potion, and a gem, so that virtual and physical interactions align. Through user testing, we compared comfort, usability, and presence across all three approaches. Results showed that fixed-point teleportation offered the most reliable and comfortable prop encounters, free teleportation provided greater freedom but less alignment accuracy, and joystick locomotion supported continuous movement at the cost of higher discomfort. Together, these findings demonstrate how hybrid locomotion systems can make small VR spaces feel larger while maintaining convincing, tangible interaction.
