Abstract
With roughly 40% of learners dropping out before matric, especially in township schools, South Africa faces a serious education crisis. Poor data systems and reliance on manual methods make it hard for educators to spot and support at-risk learners in time. The Isango EWS addresses this by using data to flag at-risk learners early, generate alerts, and track support efforts. It helps schools act proactively and reduce dropout rates through informed, coordinated interventions.
