About

Abstract

The Problem

Consulting firms struggle to manage their people across multiple projects. Right now, most teams use Airtable spreadsheets and Jira, which creates a mess:

  • No real-time view of who's available
  • Endless email chains just to approve simple requests
  • Constant weekly meetings between consultants and management to stay updated
  • Hours wasted updating spreadsheets manually and meetings overhead

Our Solution

Agility is a web app that fixes resource management. It gives everyone, from growth team members to consultants, one clear view of who's working on what, when, and for how long. The system guides you from creating a project all the way down to planning individual weeks, with a comprehensive approval system to keep management in full control.

How It Works

Built with modern web technology (Next.js, React, PostgreSQL), Agility runs in your browser with a clean, easy-to-use interface that works on any device. It includes dark mode and updates in real-time as your team makes changes.

What It Does

  • Shows you exactly how busy each consultant is across all projects over each week
  • Lets you plan projects in phases and allocate consultants to projects and phases
  • Prevents anyone from being overbooked or under utilised
  • Visualizes everyone's schedule on an interactive timeline
  • Automatically creates work schedules based on project dates

The Result

Agility turns resource management from spreadsheet chaos into simple, smart planning. Your team spends less time on paperwork, consultants don't get burned out, and you make better decisions because you can actually see what's happening.
