Students live very busy lives and are constantly on the go. Many a time, they do not have time to wait in long queues at the food stores around campus, especially the cafeteria. Not only is it time consuming and immensely frustrating, waiting in long lines at the UCT cafeteria is just not feasible given the current COVID-19 crisis. The Food2Go system offers UCT students with a convenient and efficient means by which to order food online. The system allows customer to order their food before the time by selecting a time slot which best suits them. They can order from multiple stores, make their payment, and track their order process using the order status bar. Students may also get in contact with the store managers by communicating via the contact form and placing reviews based on the functioning of the system and the quality of the food items. The administrators of the system also have an admin dashboard which allows them to analyse critical statistics and use this to improve their service offered to customers. The system allows students to adhere to all COVID-19 regulations too.
