FULL CapaCiTi

Purpose

CapaCiTi is the skills development division for Cape Innovation and Technology Initiative (CiTi), which is the oldest technology incubator in Africa. The organization searches the market for funding partners that provide some form of resource to CapaCiTi (known as prospects) and develops bidding proposal documents to present to them. The Head of Partnership Development requested an interactive dashboard with drill-down functionality, including reporting functionality that aids the reporting process to both internal executives and external stakeholders. The system captures and tracks stakeholder, prospect, and subsequent programme information. It provides solutions to some of the existing problems CapaCiTi is facing such as access control, data input validity, and version control of files, among others.

Description of Design

·       A web-based application using the ASP.Net MVC framework and a cloud-based Azure SQL database for CapaCiTi.

·       Streamline the process of capturing stakeholder, prospect, and programmes information

·       An interactive, dynamic dashboard with drill-down functionality and export feature
